About This Role

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $90,000 to $115,000, based on location and experience. In this role as a Licensing and Contract Manager, you will oversee the entire process of product licensing agreements, from initiation to completion.

You will need to have a solid grasp of intellectual property (IP) licensing, contract law, and wholesale market dynamics. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that licensing agreements are executed efficiently and effectively.

Main Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of product licenses, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify new licensing opportunities and develop strategies to secure them.
  • Provide support in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating product licensing agreements to ensure alignment with business objectives and legal standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Intellectual Property, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product licensing, contract management, or paralegal work, preferably in wholesale or distribution industries.
  • Thorough understanding of product licensing, IP laws, and contract negotiation principles.
  • Knowledge of wholesale operations, including distribution agreements for licensed products.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with legal professionals, licensors, and business stakeholders.
