Talent Acquisition Manager Job Description

At TalentRemedy, we're seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for strategically identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent to meet our client's current and future staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Talent Acquisition: Source, attract, and hire top talent for various positions within our client's restaurants and management teams located in Virginia, Washington DC, and Florida.
  2. Job Posting and Advertising: Create and audit compelling job descriptions and advertisements tailored to attract candidates for front-of-house, back-of-house, and management positions.
  3. Candidate Screening and Selection: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews with potential candidates, assessing their qualifications, experience, and cultural fit with our client's values and team dynamics.
  4. Interview Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
  5. Onboarding and Orientation: Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new employees, conducting orientation sessions, assisting with paperwork and documentation, and providing necessary training materials.
  6. Candidate Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing timely communication and feedback to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  7. Recruitment Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with our client's management team and leadership team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies that align with our client's growth objectives.
  8. Meeting Business Objectives: Ensure that talent acquisition aligns with our client's overall strategic goals and objectives by filling critical roles, supporting growth initiatives, and enhancing our client's employer brand.
  9. Enhancing Employer Brand: Develop a strong talent acquisition strategy and enhance our client's employer brand by showcasing its values, culture, and opportunities for career growth.
  10. Mitigating Skills Gaps: Address skills gaps within our client's organization by identifying areas of need and proactively recruiting individuals with the required expertise.
  11. Improving Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion within our client's workforce by implementing inclusive recruitment practices and actively seeking out candidates from diverse backgrounds.
  12. Ensuring Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process, adhering to equal employment opportunity (EEO) guidelines, maintaining accurate records, and following best practices to minimize legal risks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a talent acquisition manager or related field/experience in a high-volume hospitality/restaurant environment.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, screening, and hiring hourly and salary candidates.
  • Fluency in the Spanish Language is highly desired to support both interviewing and conducting new team member orientations.
