About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our esteemed team as a Nurse Specialist in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at MUSC. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex neurological conditions.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to manage the care of critically ill patients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Co-managing patient care with neuro-intensivists and neurosurgery or neurology faculty
  • Providing individualized, goal-directed care to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing degree (preferred)
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, and climb stairs regularly
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, MUSC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
