About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at CompassionCare Hospice. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language services to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to patients in their homes, using a variety of techniques and strategies to promote effective communication.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in speech and language therapy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current certification in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in speech and language therapy, preferably in a hospice or home health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
