Job Title: Student Program Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Program Coordinator to join our team at the University of Oklahoma. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing designated student programs and services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the success of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement student programs and services that promote academic success and personal growth.
  • Assist with program planning, development, and delivery, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to identify needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program opportunities and resources.
  • Provide information and counseling to students, facilitating support groups and advising student organizations.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, classes, and other special programs for students, promoting academic excellence and personal development.
  • Oversee data and record maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Attend events and meetings, serving on committees and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 12 months of experience in student programming, student services, or a closely related field.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, with strong composition and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in navigating and maintaining databases, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to build rapport with students, faculty, and staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in a related field.
  • 12-24 months of experience working with high school students.
  • Bilingual or proficient in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
