Position Overview:
SBM Management Services is seeking a Cleanroom Technician. The primary responsibility of the Cleanroom Technician is to maintain designated areas in a pristine and organized state, ensuring they are free from visible contaminants.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will possess relevant training or coursework and demonstrate flexibility, accountability, high motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety regulations, policies, and procedures; intervene in unsafe behaviors of oneself and others.
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks.
- Assist shift lead in addressing outstanding items.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment, including full-body protective gear, commonly referred to as 'Bunny Suits'.
- Understand the principles of customer service and satisfaction.
- Recognize the significance of reporting systems and environmental considerations.
- Maintain a static-free environment.
- Operate within confined spaces.
- Provide coverage during staff shortages.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience, preferably in a GMP or critical space environment, or equivalent training, including medical assistant coursework.
- Comfort with wearing a 'Bunny Suit' for extended periods (6-7 hours) and working in confined areas.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly during shifts.
- Proficient English communication skills: written, verbal, and comprehension.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general computer literacy.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in tracking and recording information.
- Capability to work in confined spaces while wearing cleanroom attire.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation:
$16.50 per hour
