Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Engineer to join our interdisciplinary team at Alivexbiotech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing multi-omics data analysis pipelines with a focus on single-cell sequencing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement efficient data analysis pipelines for multi-omics data, including NGS high-throughput data, mass spectrometry data, chip data, and clinical data.
• Participate in the downloading, cleaning, integration, comprehension, and visualization of various biological databases.
• Provide bioinformatics support for internal and external scientific research projects, including literature research and learning ability.
• Collaborate with our team of immunologists, molecular biologists, and clinical experts to solve clinical challenges.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or related majors, with a strong background in programming languages such as perl, python, R, or java.
• Experience in single-cell sequencing related projects or pipeline constructions is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with commonly used biological websites and databases, as well as experience in databases, crawlers, and knowledge graph is a plus.
• Strong interest in multi-omics big data and bioinformatics, with good learning ability, positive work attitude, and high sense of responsibility.
• Independent bioinformatics analysis ability, with experience in Linux operating system and proficiency in at least one of the mentioned programming languages.
• Teamwork ability, with the ability to work under pressure and collaborate with our international team of world-class employees.
