About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll play a critical role in our mission by developing and implementing cutting-edge AI and machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems in biological, genomic, clinical, and healthcare data.
Key Responsibilities
- Work individually and collaboratively with others on multiple projects, utilizing your knowledge of advanced AI and machine learning techniques to drive solutions.
- Contribute to the strategic vision for the application of AI methodologies at Exact Sciences, partnering with biostatisticians, bioinformatics scientists, and data scientists to further our goal of eradicating cancer.
- Discover requirements for ML- and AI-based solutions to business problems, focusing on bioinformatics, biostatistics, and data engineering applications.
- Collaborate with other ML/AI engineers and relevant partners to design software solutions that leverage state-of-the-art AI and machine learning techniques.
- Work in an Agile framework, delivering proof-of-concept solutions through iterative and rapid delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced AI concepts, such as artificial neural networks, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Programming ability with experience in Python and one or more associated machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or SKLearn.
- 1+ years of life sciences industry experience working with biological data, preferably in molecular diagnostics and cancer diagnostics.
- Basic knowledge of ML-Ops and processes for managing the versioning and deployment of machine learning models.
- Scientific understanding of cancer biology.
