Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer with a materials background to join our Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing complex processes related to material handling, processing, and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts to enhance existing processes, focusing on improving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Apply a deep understanding of material properties, behavior, and processing techniques to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Oversee and manage multiple projects from conception through execution, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring successful delivery within scope and budget.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze process performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and materials.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering with a focus on materials science.
  • Proven experience in leading complex projects and process optimization in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ISO 13845, ISO 9001, and/or medical device regulation.
  • Experience in project management methodologies.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Experience with additive manufacturing.
