We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document resident interactions and outcomes.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
