Key Responsibilities- Provide engineering support on multiple projects related to multi-target tracking, data fusion, and networked air-to-air weapons
- Develop and maintain digital models of air, space, and missile threat observables, performance parameters, and operating envelopes
- Perform simulations to analyze the statistical performance limits of the models in various scenarios
- Support the review of advanced tracking algorithms to improve modeling fidelity
- Verify vendor solutions meet government specifications by conducting analysis, inspection, demonstration, or tests, as appropriate
- Provide general feedback and improvements to the current modeling codebase, tools, and practices
- Support the review of academic papers and intelligence reports on data fusion and target tracking topics
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in modeling and simulation
- C++, MATLAB, SIMULINK, or similar programming language
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Experience composing documentation, reports, and briefings
- Ability to manage time independently without direct supervision
- Master's degree in engineering or computer science
- Previous experience with mission-level modeling and simulation
- Knowledge of one or more of the following modeling environments: Suppressor, AFSIM, NGTS, JSE, DIADS, IMOM or relevant tools
- Modeling and simulation experience related to one or more of the following: sensors, radar, electronic warfare, comm links and protocols, space, and satellite systems
- Familiarity with weapon systems
- Statistical analysis experience
