Job Summary:

The Center for Youth Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workforce Development Specialist to join our team. As a Workforce Navigator, you will play a critical role in implementing all aspects of direct service delivery for our Learn to Earn program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the Program: Develop and implement strategies to promote the Learn to Earn program to potential participants, community agencies, and local businesses.
  • Assess and Support Participants: Conduct assessments to identify participants' skills and needs, and provide individualized support to help them achieve their academic and employment goals.
  • Develop and Facilitate Job Readiness Trainings: Design and deliver job readiness trainings to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workforce.
  • Build Business Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses to provide paid internship opportunities for program participants.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Offer regular support and guidance to participants to help them overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in workforce development, youth employment, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse populations, and strong organizational and time management skills.
