Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Yampa Valley Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and performing various ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound procedures to provide accurate diagnostic images
  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate scheduling and preparation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
  • Model proficiency through precepting new team members and contributing to a culture of excellence
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
