Join Our Team as a Lead Financial Risk Analyst

As a Lead Financial Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and determining rates for both existing and potential complex group accounts, with a focus on Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analyses of financial data to resolve moderately complex to complex issues.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for significant accounts, providing essential insights and support to various departments and clients regarding rate calculations and financial performance.
- Deliver precise expense estimates and thorough evaluations of financial exhibits, contributing to the strategic direction of the department.
- Make informed decisions on complex issues related to project components, working independently to achieve objectives.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting or financial analysis, specifically within Dental, Vision, and/or Life insurance sectors.
- Strong understanding of risk pool management principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- A genuine commitment to enhancing consumer experiences within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in underwriting rates for intricate accounts.
- Ability to analyze diverse health or claims-related data.
- Familiarity with Disability insurance lines.
- Negotiation experience and knowledge of West regional markets.
Additional Information:
This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. The compensation for this role is competitive and reflective of the skills and experience brought to the table, with potential for a bonus incentive based on performance.
