Business Internship Opportunity

FCS Financial, a leading agriculture lending cooperative, is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Business Interns for the 2025 summer season.
About the InternshipThis 10-week internship program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the business functions of FCS Financial, including lending, risk management, and customer relationships. Interns will work closely with our experienced staff to learn about the agricultural industry, financial services, and the importance of community development.
Responsibilities- Assist in the lending process, including meeting with customers, taking applications, and conducting credit analysis
- Learn about risk management options, including crop, livestock, and life insurance
- Contribute to marketing efforts and help promote FCS Financial's image as a leading agriculture financial institution
- Complete one or more projects identified by FCS that are hands-on in nature and designed to add value to the company
- Enrolled as an undergraduate (sophomore, junior, or senior) or as a graduate student in a 4-year institution of higher education in Missouri
- Preference given to those first in their family to be enrolled in an institution of higher education
- Preference given to those majoring in business, finance, agriculture, HR, or a related field
- General knowledge of FCS Financial, the agricultural industry, and financial services
FCS Financial provides a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 per hour, as well as reasonable housing and transportation costs and a per diem to cover the cost of food.
