Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at our Greenfield, OH location. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and meeting the expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems
  • Perform check fixture inspections during production activity and record in QA database at the required frequency of the Control Plans
  • Gather data and report findings within a structured format (use of customer-specific format if required)
  • Lead quality team on respective shift
  • Monitor calibrated gages for damage, due dates
  • Issue Internal and External Quality Alerts
  • Lead containment activities when required
  • Train and develop auditors in the QMS system
  • Lead LPA completion on respective shift
  • Assist in the ongoing development and training of policies and procedures relative to the Quality Management Systems
  • Lead shift-to-shift communication between quality and production leadership
Requirements
  • Experience working within a quality system
  • Experience using measurement gages
  • Ability to read and understand drawings
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Proficient with computer, including Microsoft Office, email, and various software systems
Preferred Skills
  • Usage of various measuring devices (calipers, Micrometers, check fixtures, scale, MFI, etc.)
  • Understanding customer dimensional submissions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team building, Problem solving, and Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5-why, Fishbone, etc.)
  • Continuous Improvement background
