We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registrar to join our School Operations Team at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing student information systems, managing data collection processes, and ensuring the integrity of student data.
Key Responsibilities- Student Information & Data
- Collaborate with the School Operations Manager and Home Support Office (HSO) Knowledge Management team to oversee student information systems and manage data collection processes.
- Manage and maintain student data systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Work with the HSO Knowledge Management team to validate data and run discrepancy reports.
- Fulfill state and federal reporting requirements.
- Enrollment
- Manage the enrollment process and ensure that student information is accurately entered into the enrollment management system.
- Prepare withdrawal forms for transferring students and process student withdrawals in student information databases.
- Track enrollment status across grades and elevate to the School Operations Manager and Principal.
- Facilitate new student enrollment in collaboration with the Administrative designee.
- Assist in the Spring Lottery process.
- Attendance
- Manage audits and revise daily, weekly, and monthly attendance reports.
- Prepare monthly attendance reports; weekly attendance verifications and support with regular attendance submissions.
- In collaboration with the Dean, monitor attendance to support the SART/SARB process.
- Train and work with teachers to complete timely and accurate attendance data each day.
- Support the goal of achieving a high Average Daily Attendance (ADA) by communicating expectations of attendance to families.
- Communications
- Assist the School Operations Manager with web-based updates as needed.
- Office Functions
- Serve as primary backup for the Receptionist during peak hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- School Culture

- Contribute to a positive school culture by developing strong relationships with CNCA students, families, and staff.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
