Korzen Health is partnering with a leading healthcare system to recruit psychiatrists for consult liaison services in the emergency department and medical floor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing department that is expanding its services and starting a psychiatric residency program.

Scope of Work
  • Physicians will rotate between the emergency department and medical floor, providing consult liaison services. There is also the option to work on an outpatient basis.
  • The current team consists of 6 psychiatrists, 6 therapists, and 2 psychiatric nurse practitioners (DNPs).
Patients Population

The patient population includes individuals with depression, anxiety, geriatric, and dual-diagnosis treatment needs. There is potential to grow programs for treatment-refractory depression, child/adolescent, and other specialties.

The clinic has a robust TMS program with access to two TMS chairs and offers multiple teaching opportunities, including training for transcranial magnetic stimulation. Psychiatry is involved in training family medicine residents, internal medicine residents, and fellows, and there is an opportunity to start an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program.
