About the Role

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospitals is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team of caregivers. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and registered nurses in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
  • Set up and maintain aseptic fields, including draping, instrument handling, and specimen collection.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Comply with AORN guidelines and Cleveland Clinic's perioperative practices.
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Two years of experience in a multi-disciplined OR in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
