Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Medical Care: Develop and implement effective medical care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Lead Primary Care Team: Supervise and mentor primary care physicians to ensure they are providing high-quality care and meeting the needs of our patients.
  • Develop Policies and Procedures: Collaborate with our medical staff to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care and safety.
  • Consult with Administrator: Provide consultation and guidance to our administrator on matters related to patient care, medical staff, and facility operations.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure we are providing the best possible care to our patients.
Requirements
  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Experience: At least 0 years of experience in primary care medicine, with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Credentials: Board Eligible or Board Certified in family practice, internal medicine, or a related field. Current Alaska license as a physician, M.D. or D.O.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with moderate travel required (between 25% and 50% of the time). The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and effectively, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
