We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in PreOp and PACU to become a vital part of our healthcare team.

Role Overview:

The RN in Preoperative and PACU settings is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the application of the nursing process, adherence to medical protocols, and compliance with organizational standards. This role emphasizes safe, effective, and patient-centered care across various surgical services for diverse patient demographics. The RN will align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization and will report directly to the Manager of Peri-operative Services. Experience in supporting a range of specialties, including Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology, is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in PreOp and PACU settings is preferred.
  • Experience in an ambulatory surgical center is highly desirable.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and the management of surgical patients is essential.
