We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plastic Surgery Coordinator to join our team at Newport Beach Center for Plastic Surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating pre- and post-operative appointments, scheduling surgeries, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Reception and Communication
    • Greets and orients patients as they arrive for their appointments
    • Answers telephone calls promptly and triages calls to appropriate personnel
    • Schedules appointments on an as-needed basis
  • Patient Coordinator Duties
    • Prepares patients for consultation and assists with patient education
    • Coordinates pre-operative and post-operative care to promote confidence in medical care
    • Schedules surgeries, verifies insurance, and manages surgical charts
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintains surgical schedule for Dr. Savalia
    • Orders surgical supplies as needed
    • Collects payment and handles EDD, Disability, and Family Leave paperwork
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior experience in a medical office setting preferred.
