Nurse Practitioner

We're seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at ChenMed, a family-owned and physician-led healthcare organization dedicated to transforming healthcare for seniors. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will provide direct patient care in our medical centers, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess and manage acute and non-acute clinical problems, performing physical assessments and documenting patient histories, trends, and management plans.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, providing patient and family education, and counseling as needed.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and refer patients for consultation when indicated.
- Participate in patient care rounds and conferences, communicating patient management strategies to the care team.
- Recognize situations requiring immediate physician attention and initiate life-saving procedures as necessary.
- ARNP or similar advanced degree in Nursing required.
- Current Nurse Practitioner Certification in the State of practice required.
- Board certification by AANP or ANCC preferred but may be required for certain States.
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but willing to consider strong new graduates.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required within the first 90 days of employment.
