Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Northwest Health Starke. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • RDMS or R.T.(S)(ARRT) certification required
  • ARDMS (RDMS), post-primary sonography certification preferred
  • Licensed by the State of Indiana as Radiologic Technologist required
  • BLS certification required
