Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as a positive representative for all clients, ensuring a world-class service experience.
- Exhibits the capability to proficiently execute responsibilities within the Sonographer's scope of practice as defined by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
- Complies with and practices according to the Clinical, Quality, and Professional Performance Standards set forth by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists for Sonographers, which encompass assessment, analysis, patient education, performance, evaluation, implementation, outcomes measurement, documentation, quality self-assessment, education, collaboration, and ethics.
- Guarantees that services are delivered with the utmost quality, safety, and outcomes, adhering to a care model that reflects world-class standards.
- May take on the role of Charge Technologist based on assigned work shift requirements or as needed.
- Adjust regular work schedule to accommodate for absences, vacations, and weather-related issues.
- Assist in transporting patients, considering their acuity levels.
- Provide both fixed and mobile ultrasound services at various facilities and physician offices.
- Engage in various tasks to support the Department in maintaining a cohesive and efficient operation.
- Carry out other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Successful completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program accredited by recognized bodies.
- Licensure:
- Current Registry and Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS).
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
- Experience: Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist is preferred but not mandatory.
