Responsibilities:


The role of the Agricultural Sales Specialist is crucial in assisting customers with their farming and household requirements.

With extensive knowledge of agricultural machinery, power tools, and essential home products, you will deliver exceptional customer service and expert guidance to ensure a satisfying shopping experience.

• Provide outstanding customer service by helping potential customers identify power equipment that meets their specific needs.


• Engage customers in meaningful discussions to comprehend their unique requirements, preferences, and budgetary constraints using our customer engagement model.


• Support customers throughout the retail financing process, ensuring all prerequisites are fulfilled before equipment release.

• Manage the procurement of various types of power equipment for store inventory and customer special requests.

• Assist with the receipt, movement, and display of power equipment products.


• Adhere to the Indoor Merchandising Guide to ensure all products are arranged and maintained according to company standards.

• Conduct demonstrations of power equipment when necessary.

• Aid customers in locating items within the store and suggest suitable alternatives if a specific product is out of stock.


• Actively listen to customer concerns, promptly address inquiries or issues, and provide appropriate solutions or escalate to a supervisor if needed.


• Collect customer contact information for follow-up situations, such as product availability updates or new arrivals.

• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.


• Offer expert advice and product knowledge on a wide array of items, including power equipment, livestock, heating solutions, fencing, batteries, lawn care, and pools.

• Demonstrate product features and benefits, conduct demonstrations, and explain technical specifications as required.

• Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales and enhance transaction averages.

• Promote exclusive offers and raise awareness of the store loyalty program.

• Process special orders, operate the POS system, and resolve return issues as necessary.


• Collaborate with team members to meet sales objectives, foster a cooperative work atmosphere, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

• Participate in training sessions and stay informed on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies and procedures.


• Contribute to visual merchandising efforts by organizing product displays, ensuring proper signage, and maintaining a clean and appealing sales floor during non-customer assistance periods.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Engage in cross-training for flexibility across different departments and responsibilities.

• Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars to acquire new knowledge and refine existing skills.
