About the Role

Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation is seeking a skilled Guardian Service Specialist to join our team in Boston, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with endoscopic equipment and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Soliciting repair orders from Richard Wolf customers within an assigned geography (territory)
  • Processing, shipping, and tracking all orders in close cooperation with customer service personnel
  • Scheduling and performing preventative maintenance to ensure proper operation of customer's RWMIC equipment and facilitates repairs/exchanges as needed
  • Delivering, or arranging delivery, of repaired items back to the customer

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma; a college degree in biomedical engineering, RN (Registered Nurse) with O.R. experience, CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician), or CST (Certified Surgical Technician) qualifications is preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills, intermediate level on all MS Office Suite of products
  • A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work unsupervised
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires frequent travel within the territory and may involve exposure to infectious diseases, laser exposure, X-ray exposure, and chemicals. You must be able to lift/carry 25+ pounds, bend/stoop/kneel 4 hours per day, stand/sit/walk 8 hours per day, and push/pull 50+ pounds.
