HSS Systems Analyst

This position will coordinate homeless and poverty program performance evaluation, including coordinating with Continuums of Care (CoCs), and monitoring of data submission and program outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for data collection, reporting, metrics, and input into policies from that data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate data collection and analysis for complex federal and state reports.
  • Evaluate results of outcomes and recommend systems, policy, and/or changes based on that evaluation.
  • Interpret applicable statutes, guidance, rules, and regulations in response to program and policy questions and situations.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices in the workplace.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills.
  • Two years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work.
  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
Desired Attributes:
  • Experience analyzing policy issues related to homelessness, housing, and/or poverty.
  • Knowledge of homeless and poverty programs and state and federal regulations relative to the administration of these programs.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, research, reporting, and analytical skills.
