Key Responsibilities

This role is a full-time permanent position within a manufacturing setting. The individual will be tasked with contributing to the production of charitable and lottery gaming items, including pull-tab tickets and bingo paper.

The operator will be essential in ensuring the production of high-quality pull-tab tickets while overseeing the efforts of the assigned assistant.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervising the assigned helper during the shift.
  • Diagnosing printing-related issues and implementing corrective measures.
  • Enhancing production efficiency through ongoing process improvements.
  • Reducing production waste via continuous optimization efforts.
  • Utilizing all available press control features effectively.
  • Reviewing production schedules and recommending efficient modifications as necessary.
  • Adhering to job ticket instructions meticulously.
  • Training the helper to prepare them for future operator roles.
  • Maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in computer operations.
  • Exhibiting safe and intelligent work practices.
  • Completing work center time sheets accurately by the end of the shift.
  • Performing other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience; technical training in the field is preferred.
  • Ability to lead and direct team members effectively.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Capability to objectively assess information relevant to the position.
  • Proficient time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in an organized manner within a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Willingness to learn new software applications.
  • Skill in prioritizing tasks, maintaining schedules, and following up to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of production demands and their impact on upstream processes.

  • External candidates must be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident.
