Job Description

International Gamco is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in a manufacturing environment.

This role will be responsible for assisting in the production of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets and bingo paper.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the 2-way slitter, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain 2-way slitting machines to prepare product for production.
  • Setup and review game documentation and schedules.
  • Monitor and operate equipment, notifying personnel of any malfunctions or safety issues.
  • Make adjustments and perform pre-operation and shut-down activities to ensure equipment is properly functioning.
  • Identify and correct machine problems to avoid losses.
  • Conduct inspections, monitor machine output settings, and perform basic quality control and assurance tests.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Drive quality standards and operational efficiencies.
  • Follow work safety policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure time-sensitive work is monitored effectively to meet internal and customer deadlines.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years' technical training/experience in area of responsibility.
  • 3-5 years' experience in machine operation or experienced helper.
  • Die cutting and printing experience for Webtron-Web Press Operators.
  • Ability to direct subordinates, if applicable.
  • Troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to apply strong attention to detail and produce work with accuracy.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
