Production Operator

International Gamco is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in a manufacturing environment.
This role will be responsible for assisting in the production of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets and bingo paper.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the 2-way slitter, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain 2-way slitting machines to prepare product for production.
- Setup and review game documentation and schedules.
- Monitor and operate equipment, notifying personnel of any malfunctions or safety issues.
- Make adjustments and perform pre-operation and shut-down activities to ensure equipment is properly functioning.
- Identify and correct machine problems to avoid losses.
- Conduct inspections, monitor machine output settings, and perform basic quality control and assurance tests.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Drive quality standards and operational efficiencies.
- Follow work safety policies and guidelines.
- Ensure time-sensitive work is monitored effectively to meet internal and customer deadlines.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years' technical training/experience in area of responsibility.
- 3-5 years' experience in machine operation or experienced helper.
- Die cutting and printing experience for Webtron-Web Press Operators.
- Ability to direct subordinates, if applicable.
- Troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to apply strong attention to detail and produce work with accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
