Job Title: Technical Product Specialist Environmental Products

At DURAG, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and technical support team, you will play a critical role in providing pre and post-sales support to customers and regional sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical sales support to customers and sales teams, including determining solutions to proposed customer applications and creating sales tools to simplify the selection and qualification process.
  • Work closely with customers and representatives to develop quotations and proposals based on customer requirements.
  • Review customer technical and commercial specifications and develop quotations/proposals based on customer requirements.
  • Manage quality issues and customer complaints to a proper and timely conclusion, providing weekly reports to management.
  • Support tradeshow efforts, including preparation of and participation in events and technical presentations.
  • Build and deliver training as needed for customers, end users, and internal employees.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Natural Sciences combined with a minimum of 4 years experience in technical consulting, sales, customer service, product development, or business development.
  • Emission Monitoring or Air Pollution Control Systems experience; preferred.
  • Knowledge of EPA air emissions test methodology; preferred.
  • Knowledge of National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS); preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and self-sufficiently in a global environment in constant change.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

This position may require employee to lift, handle, and move product or equipment; and climb stairs and ladders to high and possibly remote locations where product may be installed, and temperature and weather may be harsh.

Domestic and international travel is required, sometimes up to 25% of the work week, not always conforming to the traditional U.S. Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm work day.
