KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a pivotal leader within the organization, the Chief Nursing Executive (CNE) is tasked with spearheading strategic initiatives and driving transformative change in a dynamic healthcare landscape. This role is essential in aligning nursing practices with the organization’s strategic goals.

The CNE will oversee the nursing organization across the enterprise, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective nursing care. This includes:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborating with nursing and administrative leaders to formulate and execute a vision that promotes safe, quality patient care.
  • Quality Assurance: Continuously assessing and enhancing care models and workflows to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Operational Excellence: Overseeing nursing operations and ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Talent Management: Leading the recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for nursing staff, ensuring a competent and engaged workforce.
  • Patient Experience: Working with teams to drive strategies that enhance patient care quality and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensure and Certification: A valid registered nurse license is required. Additional certifications in nursing leadership are preferred.

Education: A Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration is essential, along with a Doctorate in Nursing or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 15 years in nursing management and healthcare administration, with a focus on advancing nursing practices and integrating services within a complex healthcare environment.
