About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Scheduling Specialist to join our USGP team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth referral process for patients requiring specialty care.

Your primary responsibilities will include tracking and monitoring the flow of referrals, generating weekly reports, and communicating with Case Managers as needed. You will also be responsible for processing monthly network referrals and participating in weekly meetings.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong typing skills, with a minimum speed of 50 WPM, are also essential, as well as certifications in Basic Life Support and experience in medical scheduling.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Experience: 1 year of medical scheduling experience
  • Typing Speed: 50 WPM or greater
