Global Sales Director Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Global Sales Director to lead our West Coast business development team. This role will involve identifying global business opportunities, generating profitable sales in new accounts, and developing business strategies to maximize margins and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing strong business relationships and a proven track record of sales success. They will be responsible for identifying future leads and clients, contacting prospective leads, and entertaining existing and potential clients.

This role requires 1 day per week onsite and offers a salary of $97,296-$168,647. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify global business opportunities and generate profitable sales in new accounts
  • Develop and implement sales plans to support increased sales and revenue growth
  • Partner with new clients to devise solution-based strategies for company growth
  • Develop strong business relationships and identify future leads and clients
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in business development, specifically in the logistics or freight-forward industry
  • Demonstrative experience in consultative B2B, solution-based sales role with demonstrated track record generating revenue and meeting sales targets
  • Proven history of sales success identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Strong understanding of logistics business beyond core functional expertise and in-depth knowledge of products and services
  • Strong working knowledge of domestic and international regulatory compliance laws and regulations related to the supply chain and transportation industry
