Achieving True Self is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing personalized behavior support services to children and their families in a home and/or community setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support children's behavioral and emotional needs.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior, using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to implement new skills and strategies.
- Provide a supportive and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, sociology) preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
