We are seeking a skilled School Nurse to join our team at Clark County Fire Department (Kentucky). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to students, ensuring their health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Administer basic first aid and screen ill or injured students in accordance with State laws and District regulations.
- Assist with health testing programs, including vision, hearing, scoliosis, and dental screenings.
- Prepare and maintain accurate health records, files, and reports.
- Provide emergency care and notify administrators, parents, or paramedics as necessary.
- Administer medicines to students and record properly.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe health office environment.
- Attend meetings and perform related duties as assigned.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency.
- Valid Kentucky Driver's License and valid Kentucky Nursing License.
- Any combination equivalent to graduation as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse and one year comprehensive nursing experience.
