Plastic Surgery and Burn Care Specialist

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (TPMG) is actively seeking a BE/BC Plastic Surgery-Burn & General Plastics physician to enhance our services in South San Francisco, CA.
The Burn Service at Kaiser has experienced consistent growth over the years, with increasing outpatient and video consultations, inpatient admissions, and a rise in both acute and reconstructive surgical procedures. The ideal candidate should possess a deep commitment to burn care and a desire to further develop this essential program. This position encompasses a hybrid practice model, where half of the responsibilities will involve general plastic surgery, including breast reconstruction, skin cancer treatment (melanoma), chronic wound management, pressure ulcer care, tissue expansion implants, and some transgender-related procedures. Please note that there is no requirement for micro-training, flaps, hand surgery, or cosmetic procedures.
The multidisciplinary team comprises specialists in Plastic Surgery, Orthopedic Hand Surgery, Infectious Disease, Physical and Occupational Therapy, and Hospital-Based Services. Candidates who enjoy teaching, conducting educational surveys, and participating in quality improvement initiatives will find this role particularly rewarding. Applicants must be BE/BC in Plastic Surgery and possess or be eligible for a California Medical License. Leadership experience is a valuable asset.
Compensation: The full-time annual salary range is $431,669 to $445,020, with additional potential incentives of up to $34,400. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may also be available. Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
