Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and personable individual to take on the responsibilities of a Patient Care Coordinator and Medical Assistant. This unique role demands a combination of administrative proficiency, patient-centered care, and medical assistance capabilities.
Core Responsibilities:
Patient Care Coordination:
- Act as the primary liaison for patients, delivering exceptional service and addressing any inquiries or requirements.
- Organize patient consultations, follow-up visits, and surgical scheduling.
- Provide patients with comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative guidance, ensuring they feel informed and at ease.
- Assist in educating patients about procedures, products, and care plans.
Medical Assistance:
- Support the surgeon during procedures and examinations, maintaining a sterile and organized environment.
- Prepare patients for treatments, including gathering medical histories and recording vital signs.
- Oversee and manage medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are adequately stocked and functional.
- Perform minor clinical tasks and assist with patient preparation for various cosmetic treatments.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of professional experience.
- More than 5 years with a previous employer.
- Experience in a similar capacity within a medical or cosmetic surgery environment is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting professionally and empathetically with patients.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ideally honed in previous customer service roles.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and of high moral character.
- Genuine passion for aesthetics, health, and beauty.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent experience is preferred.
