We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with hemodialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any unusual findings to the nurse supervisor.
- Perform vascular access evaluation and cannulation, as well as administer heparin as delegated.
- Initiate and terminate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification or High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
