Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Medicine

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse - Emergency Medicine to support Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Emergency Medicine to join our team. As a Registered Nurse - Emergency Medicine, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals.
  • Provide emergency nursing care for patients coming to the emergency department, including level 1, urgent, non-urgent, and specialty patients.
  • Have knowledge of various pharmacological agents used in patient treatment, including their desired effects, side effects, and complications.
  • Assume full responsibility for assigned patients and ancillary personnel, delegating tasks and directing emergency room and specialty technicians as needed.
  • Recognize medical emergencies and respond appropriately, assisting the medical team in administering advanced cardiac life support measures when necessary.
  • Contribute to a professional environment using leadership skills, encouraging team building, and enhancing work knowledge through cross-training and augmenting other units as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of two years of experience with one year in emergency room, with one year of emergency room experience occurring within the last three years.
  • Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
