About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate COTA to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the direction of a treating occupational therapist to provide personalized care to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities- Assist the treating occupational therapist in documenting patient progress and response to treatment
- Teach task-oriented therapeutic activities to restore physical and sensory-integrative function
- Communicate with the supervising occupational therapist and other healthcare team members to promote coordination of care
- Participate in quality and performance improvement measures
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of two (2) years of certified occupational therapy assistant experience, ideally in home healthcare
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
