As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you\u2019ll work as part of a home health team focused on the patient\u2019s plan of care and personal goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to an illness or injury
  • Assessing patient deficits, establishing therapy goals, and documenting progress
  • Assisting patients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination
  • Suggesting adaptive equipment to offer added support
  • Assessing fall risks and introducing strategies to improve home safety
  • Educating patients and families on plan of care, exercises, goals, and self-care

To be successful in this role, you\u2019ll need:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and active OT license in Colorado
  • Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience in home healthcare
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
  • Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourceful, and compassionate
