Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, PC is seeking a skilled phone operator to join our team at our Yardley, PA office. As a Cardiology Consultant Phone Operator, you will be responsible for receiving, placing, and transferring telephone calls using appropriate phone etiquette.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and communicating all messages in an accurate, concise, and timely manner, using appropriate medical terminology and abbreviations.
  • Routing emergency calls appropriately and maintaining an accurate listing of physician phone numbers, fax numbers, and addresses.
  • Performing clerical duties, such as typing, proofreading, accepting orders, scheduling appointments, and sorting mail when required.
  • Ability to make appointments in GPMS and multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in a medical office setting, preferably in Cardiology.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
  • Computer knowledge and experience with an EMR system is a plus.
  • Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing.
