Client Overview
Our client stands out as a premier contractor in the region. They have established a significant presence in the construction industry since the late 1970s, recognized for their excellence in project delivery and strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Their portfolio includes educational institutions, office buildings, healthcare facilities, and industrial structures such as warehouses and distribution centers, typically valued between $3-25M. With substantial growth in the market, they are eager to expand their talented team.
Role Summary
The Construction Project Leader will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and coordinating all essential project resources from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence in a collaborative setting.
- Facilitating personnel development and team growth.
- Setting clear job expectations, enforcing company policies, and providing guidance and coaching to team members.
- Conducting regular team meetings to monitor project progress, budget compliance, and adherence to technical, safety, and legal standards.
- Employing strategic problem-solving skills to enhance project value for clients.
- Potentially collaborating with the pre-construction team during project development.
- Managing financial reporting and budget oversight, analyzing reports to ensure project budget compliance.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for the Construction Project Leader position will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
- Experience in commercial or light industrial projects is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience with a General Contractor.
- Familiarity with relevant project management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a collaborative team environment.
Compensation Package
The successful candidate can anticipate a competitive offer that includes:
- A base salary commensurate with experience, approximately ranging from $90,000 to $130,000.
- A discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
- Vehicle or vehicle allowance.
- Provision of a cell phone and laptop.
- Paid time off and sick leave.
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, medical, vision, and dental coverage.
