Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of patient care and treatment
- Provide clerical and administrative support
- Work collaboratively with the Physician, Non-Physician Provider, RN, LPN, and other departmental personnel
- Prepare room, equipment, and supplies for examinations and procedures
- Assist with scheduling admissions, appointments, and diagnostic tests
- Screen incoming telephone calls and refer to nurse, physician, or non-physician provider as needed
- Order and maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment
- Maintain patient files, records, and other information
- Compile statistical data for reports
- Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization
- High school diploma or GED/equivalent for Medical Assistant
- Graduate of an approved licensed practical nursing program for LPN
- CPR certification at hire
- Current state license as a practical nurse required for LPN
