You will prepare ingredients with precision, utilizing the appropriate safety equipment and tools, while adhering to management's directives. Additionally, you will be responsible for the organization of food products in both the walk-in cooler and freezer, as well as ensuring that dry storage areas are orderly.

The Kitchen Preparation Specialist is dedicated to crafting fresh, appetizing dishes that are visually appealing. We are looking for a reliable individual with a strong work ethic who can manage the responsibilities associated with opening and closing the kitchen.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Execute the prep list provided by the Kitchen Manager
    • Accurately measure ingredients and follow mixing techniques as per recipes
    • Prepare ingredients by washing, slicing vegetables, and cutting meats
    • Perform basic cooking tasks such as sautéing vegetables and boiling soups
    • Label and stock all food items to ensure proper rotation
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of sanitation and cleanliness protocols
    • Carry out additional duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum age: 18 years
    • Solid understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety, and hygiene
    • Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
    • Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
    • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
    • Reliable transportation
    • Able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
