Investment Performance Analyst

Budget DevelopmentPrepare quarterly financial operating budgets for designated site organizations, ensuring alignment with corporate finance timelines. Your budgets will accurately reflect operational activities and capital investment strategies. It is essential to thoroughly understand the business and technical objectives of your area to ensure that budgets and forecasts are reflective of current spending needs. You will challenge unrealistic spending proposals and provide insightful guidance to help meet budgetary targets. Collaborating closely with area management, you will ensure timely inputs for budget and forecast submissions. Review the final budget outputs with area management to ensure alignment.
Take a proactive stance on financial matters affecting your areas, establishing yourself as the primary point of contact for issue resolution and policy clarification.
Performance MeasurementDeliver comprehensive performance measurement analyses, including explanations of significant variances, to area management as defined by the measurement process. Your analyses will highlight key budget variances and spending trends, and you will strive to structure these analyses to identify strategies that minimize operating costs.
Adopt a proactive approach to cost reduction initiatives, ensuring that the areas you support are kept informed of evolving financial objectives that impact their operations.
