Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Regional RN to join our team at Big Springs Nursing & Rehab Center. As a Regional RN, you will provide exceptional nursing care to our residents while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, assessing conditions, communicating with physicians, and carrying out nursing functions according to patient needs.
  • Assist in establishing a plan of care for patients based on their unique needs and in line with physician orders.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing coaching and discipline as needed.
  • Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Program initiatives and ensure safe work practices are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with families, patients, and staff regarding patient care and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
  • Experience in long-term care setting preferred.
  • Capable of working to prescribed nursing standards.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
