RF Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Hardware Engineer to join our team at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. As a key member of our Radio Frequency Engineering Group, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and testing RF technologies and systems in lab and field environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop RF systems and components, including antennas, amplifiers, and filters.
- Integrate and test RF systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and performance requirements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot RF system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement RF system designs, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging RF technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong understanding of RF systems, propagation, and antenna design.
- Experience with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance and meet the requirements for access to classified information.
