We are seeking a motivated Senior Patient Care Technician to contribute to our mission of providing high-quality healthcare. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and grow within our organization.


Key Responsibilities

The Senior Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care by performing various basic patient care tasks related to nursing functions and daily living activities.

Under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN), the Senior PCT assists in delivering patient care according to established protocols and the PCT's qualifications. The role also involves performing advanced procedures based on specialized certifications.

The Senior PCT adheres to all hospital policies and regulations and ensures compliance with nursing standards.

Additionally, the Senior PCT plays a crucial role in training and mentoring new and existing staff as directed by management.


Key Duties Include:
  • Implementing nursing care plans by providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
  • Collecting and documenting patient information throughout their care journey, including vital signs and other essential data.
  • Assisting patients with mobility and daily living activities.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Responding promptly to patient needs and requests.
  • Engaging in best practices to enhance patient experience.
  • Training new PCTs during orientation and ensuring adherence to unit standards.

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required within the first month of employment.
